The Belarusian State Academy of Arts (BSAA) is a unique educational institution that trains specialists in theatre, cinema and TV arts, fine and decorative arts and crafts, various kinds of design and art studies.

Opened in 1945 under the name of the Belarusian Theatre Institute, the Academy is now subdivided into four faculties: the Theatre Faculty, the Art Faculty, the Faculty of Design and Decorative Arts and Crafts, the Retraining Faculty. They are attended by both Belarusian citizens and foreign students, most gifted and skilful.
